The Hispanic Youth Leaders Organization was
founded in 1995 by three men looking for a purpose. The purpose of HYLO is
to create and nurture well-rounded young Latino leaders. Our mission is to
promote National Hispanic Institute Programs, to pursue cultural
awareness, Community Involvement, Latino Leadership, and Academic
Excellence. Our vision is to craft a reality made by leaders who are
culturally, intellectually, and emotionally rooted, and that will create
their own solutions, their own future for their Latino world. Our National
Hispanic Institute Programs include: YLC for Freshmen, LDZ for sophomores
and juniors, CWS for Juniors and the Mexico language program for seniors.
