Tuition Information

The Financial Aid Program is committed to providing aid to all students with identified need. Several factors are taken into consideration, family income, number of dependents, health expenses, current family commitments to other private school education tuition, etc. Circumstances can vary from family to family. Based on those circumstances, financial aid funding is awarded case by case to those who qualify with verified, identified need.

Students are first admitted to Providence based on their qualifications and only after admittance, do students apply for financial aid.

To avoid any delays, it is requested that both the registration and the financial aid process are completed as soon as possible.  The Business Office will not know the amount of awards until all applications are reviewed and finalized by the Financial Aid Committee after June 15, 2011. You will be notified by the Financial Aid Committee no later than June 30, 2011.  If you have questions or concerns about the application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 1-866-315-9262.

PLEASE NOTE: The Financial Aid Committee is entirely separate from the Admissions Committee which has no knowledge of an applicant's financial status nor does it have influence in the financial aid process. The admissions process is not affected by a family applying for Financial Aid. The awarding of Financial Aid is separate and distinct from the Admissions process. Financial assistance awards are based on the family's financial need.

Aramark Program (back to top of page)

Earn money for your daughter's tuition! The ARAMARK Program is now available at Providence Catholic School. ARAMARK is a leader in professional services, providing food services and facilities management among other services, to universities and school districts, stadiums and arenas, and businesses around the world.

Frequently asked questions (back to top of page)

What is FACTS?
FACTS is a service used by more than 4,000 institutions across the country to organize and help assess a family’s ability to pay school costs. The FACTS service provides an opportunity to collect a family’s financial aid information in an objective and consistent manner.

You may direct questions about FACTS to Brenda Lopez at 210-224-6651 ext. 222 or email.

Who makes the financial aid grant decisions?
The Financial Aid Committee makes the decisions about financial aid using the information compiled by the FACTS service. All information is kept strictly confidential. The criteria for awarding this financial aid and actual selection of these recipients are determined by the Providence financial aid committee.

What is the deadline for applying for financial aid for the 2011-2012 school year?
The application deadline is May 31, 2011. Notification letters will be mailed for all submitted, verified and completed applications by June 30, 2011.

Are you able to tell a family if they will qualify for financial aid if they fall within a certain income range?
The amount of aid offered depends on a family’s unique financial circumstances. A family’s income and assets from all sources, its debts and expenses, as well as the family’s priority of spending are all taken into account. Financial aid awards are made on the review that the family is allocating the maximum amount of resources within its capacity to the educational costs of its children.
