National Honor Society
-
The Providence High School chapter of the National
Honor Society is a proud organization of tenth, eleventh,
and twelfth grade scholars committed to service, leadership,
and character. These students maintain a cumulative GPA of
90 or better for membership and consistently demonstrate all
four of these qualities throughout their three years at
Providence. Campus and community involvement provide
opportunities for service ranging from peer tutoring and
teacher assistance to volunteer experiences at local and
parish organizations. Most importantly, these young women
act as models for their peers of integrity and true honor in
every endeavor.
The induction process begins
each January when GPA’s are reviewed for eligibility, and
the process continues with verification of eligible
students’ service, leadership, and character qualities. A
moving and meaningful Induction Ceremony takes place in

open to every student in the high school and allows them to
work together as a team to prepare for the ACTS Retreat that

songs in different languages. The Liturgical choir is
